*Necropsy of genetically modified mouse for phenotyping will include collection of the following tissues: Heart, tongue, thymus, thyroid gland, lymph nodes, salivary glands, lung, trachea, esophagus, heart, liver, spleen, kidneys, adrenal glands, ovaries/testes and epididymides, uterus and vagina/prostate, seminal vesicles, coagulating glands and bulbourethral glands, clitoral gland/preputial gland, urinary bladder, urethra, mammary glands, stomach, duodenum, pancreas, jejunum, ileum, cecum, colon, skin, brain and pituitary gland, eyes, Harderian glands, bone, bone marrow, teeth, pharynx, nasal cavity. Spinal cord/vertebral column upon request. Does not include the costs for processing specimens or the preparation of sections.
We will work closely with the investigator to determine the optimal set of tissue to be examined histologically in each animal.

Training sessions are designed for new users, and will cover general use of the machine, how images are saved, and image analysis.
Data Storage: $0.07/GB per month w/a 1 month grace period
Starting September 1, 2014 we will be transitioning to an updated version of the ScanScope scanning software, which necessitates previous users to undergo a refresher training. This refresher training is free and can be completed by going to Aperio's website, and completing the ScanScope CS Basics course. We have also updated our image saving protocols, and the tutorials can be found on the wall on the ScanScope room.

All users must fill out the attached User Form, which must be completed before you start scanning. This form will provide us with billing information, and details necessary for scheduling scanning time. Upon receipt of this form, users will be added to the scheduling calendars, and may begin scanning.
